Objective:
Sarto Countertops is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our fast-growing stone countertop team as a Countertop Template Technician. The ideal candidate will have countertop or construction experience, a passion for customer service, a strong work ethic, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
All employees must pass a drug and background test.

Responsibilities:
- Operate measuring tools and equipment, such as laser templating machine and software, tape measure, and levels in order to create precise templates.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of templates by thoroughly reviewing and verifying measurements and specifications.
- Communicate and collaborate with customers and other team members on essential job details.
- Evaluate the job site to assess the scope of the project and any potential challenges for installation.
- Provide accurate and detailed documentation of all job details.
- A Countertop Templator plays a critical role in ensuring accurate templates for the fabrication and installation of countertops. Attention to detail, technical skills, problem solving, and effective communication are essential qualities of a Template Technician. Thorough training will be provided for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Clean cut appearance and friendly demeanor
- Ability to follow Sarto Process and Standards for templating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background screen
- Strong communication with customers and teammates
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic construction knowledge, preferably countertop or cabinetry
- Willingness to learn
- Passion for customer service
- Passion for producing a high quality end product
